What is direct response video marketing?  Maybe we should take it back a bit and recall what direct response marketing is.  When we speak of direct response marketing, we may conjure up the image of the old fashioned door to door salesman.  He offers his goods and sells the customer on the benefits and they either directly respond by buying or not.

So, by correlation, direct response video marketing is when a business employs video as a means to market their product or service.  Gone are the days of the personal fellow with brushes and spices in his case.  Now, with the advent of the Internet and such video sharing sites as YouTube, any business can place a short video that leads a viewer to sign up for a free sample of whatever it is that you are selling.

Or as things stand now, more and more businesses are using video to almost replace the long written out sales copy type of direct response marketing.  Headlines, sub-headlines and bullet points are produced in a professional slide show format, perhaps.  The voice-over is essentially reading the sales letter as the slides go by.

While it may cost more up front, look into having a professional video company produce your video marketing campaign.  Good “copy” sells.  Bad copy is just bad copy, whether it is in video or just the written word.   Done properly direct response video marketing can be just the element of professionalism you need to add to perk up your business’s marketing plan.
